IFAK pouches are for when things go south in a hurry. IFAK stands for Individual First Aid Kit and is essentially a kit to rapidly treat traumatic injuries in the field. Originally a military concept, the Individual First Aid Kit has seen use by hikers and other adventurers who may require sudden aid if things suddenly go very wrong during said adventure. While the contents of these kits are what makes them useful, practical containers for them that can go from closed and secure to open and displaying their vital contents in moments make an IFAK even handier.
