By now, you’ve likely opened all of the presents you got from Santa Claus. And because you were a Good Child this year, hopefully, you got everything you wanted. But enough about you. What about the big man himself? What does he want out of life? What are his hopes and dreams? And most importantly: What car does Santa drive?
To be clear, I’m not talking about the vehicle he takes to travel around the world delivering presents for one night each year. That, of course, is handled by the infamous reindeer-powered flying sleigh. No, I’m talking about the car he uses the other 364 days. The car he takes to the grocery store. The car he takes when he and Mrs. Claus treat themselves to a romantic night out. The car he uses to ferry elven OSHA inspectors around his world-class toy manufacturing facility whenever they come by for a checkup.
It may sound like a dumb, punny answer but I feel like Saint Nick would genuinely be well-served by a Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup. As a toy factory owner-operator, he definitely needs something with utility, but a full-size body-on-frame truck would feel a bit unnecessary. Barbies and PS5s aren’t that heavy, after all, and the Hyundai‘s 5,000-pound towing capacity and 1,609-pound payload limit should be just fine. Also, given his proximity to polar bears, rumor has it that Santa’s been on an eco-kick lately so that turbo-four and its 22 combined mpg won’t hurt either.
Anywho, what car do you think Santa drives? Leave your answer in the comments below!
