Jon Olsson is many things, but worthy of pity ain’t one of them. When the Swedish skiier-slash-YouTube star isn’t gallivanting around the world inventing new ski tricks and winning competitions, he’s often either home in Monaco with his model girlfriend, or blasting around somewhere in one of his customized sports cars. Which brings us to the subject of his latest YouTube video: a comprehensive look at Olsson’s 800-plus horsepower Lamborghini Huracan.
Olsson’s proclivity for tuned, all-wheel-drive speed machines—the better to drive up to ski resorts, my dear—is well-known by this point, so it shouldn’t be surprising to learn that his Lambo is the Huracan 610-4. And much like the skiier’s dearly-departed Audi RS6 Avant and his previous Lambos, Olsson’s Huracan comes equipped with an aerodynamically-optimized ski box on top and a winter-inspired camouflage wrap.
But the 34-year-old Internet star and Gumball 3000 staple has made a few other tweaks to the car. The stock carbon-ceramic brake discs have been swapped for steel ones in order to better handle the chilly, erratic temperatures of winter driving; the car has been lowered a little; and the Huracan has been fitted with an Akrapovic exhaust for some extra snarl.
Oh, and there’s a custom-made supercharger setup that dials the 5.2-liter V-10 up to “between 800 and 900 horsepower,” as Olsson put it. That’s enough, he claims, to send the car from 62 to 124 miles per hour in five seconds flat.
Damn it, Jon Olsson. Would it kill you to be a little less awesome? We’re starting to get jelaous.
