As I’m growing older, I’m liking the cold weather more and more. The air is clearer, the world is quieter, and there’s a certain level of inner peace I seem to regularly find this time of year. That is, until it’s time to head out to the garage. Then I start to hate it again. The problem? I don’t have a good source of heat out there. I’m sure I don’t need to go into much detail as to why that makes working on cars suck. While I’ve got some work to do before I can install a solid heat source out there, the rest of you might want to take advantage of these deals on shop heaters over at Northern Tool.

Dyna Glo, 60K Vertical Radiant LP Heater for $199.99

If you’re like me and need a temporary solution before you can invest in a big heater, the Dyna Glo 60K Vertical Radiant LP Heater for $199.99 is a solid pick. The low setting of 30,000 BTU is good for heating up a 750-square-foot room. That’s great for a two-bay shop, and the high 60,000 BTU setting is good for up to a 1,350-square-foot space. The more I write about it, the more I’m considering grabbing one for myself.

Mr. Heater Big Maxx Natural Gas Garage/Workshop Unit Heater for $749.00

If you are in a good spot to invest in a proper heat source, you’ve got some awesome choices to work with. Personally, I’d like to have something like the Mr. Heater Big Maxx Natural Gas Garage/Workshop Unit Heater for $749.00. However, the Vogelzang, EPA 2020 Wood Stove for $749.99 is an awesome alternative if you’d rather stick with something a little more traditional and don’t mind the added work.
