If you do the math, we’re talking roughly 23 cents per piece, which is a great value. Now, you might not make a living with this grade of tool kit, but it’s a solid starter set. It makes a great gift to your kid and can serve you well as a backup or even a center kit for your home garage.

I’m personally digging the Craftsman 11-piece standard polished chrome mechanics tool set with hard case for $13.99. This is one of those repeating yet scarce deals my dad and I keep an eye out for all the time. Whenever they pop up, we buy at least one for good measure. The price-per-piece ratio isn’t quite as good as the last deal, but for $14, it’s hard to go wrong. This kit covers a decent range of fastener sizes and easily stores pretty much anywhere. It’s just a handy little kit that’s worth having around.
