There are so many ways Oscar Meyer could have gone wrong with its Wiener Rover campaign.
The idea was sort of a retro-Eighties update to the Wienermobile, which you have to admit has been around a long time—79 years, in fact. Messing with an icon like that, especially in what sounds like an incredibly cheesy way, could backfire like your uncle at the VFW Fourth of July cookout.
But the Wiener Rover, a semi-autonomous hot dog delivery drone created by hotshot ad agency 360i, fully embraces the cheese, as the YouTube spot below makes quite plain:
