America will honor those who have served their country in the military and thank them for the sacrifices they’ve made this Veterans Day.

Many businesses are planning to offer a variety of deals and freebies such as store discounts, free food, or even waived fees on Saturday, Nov. 11.

One of the deals available for drivers this year is from Meineke Car Care Centers. They have partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to offer free basic oil changes at any of their 225 participating Meineke locations to all veterans and active-duty military members with their military IDs.

As part of the partnership with WWP, other Meineke customers who visit a U.S. location can have their car’s service bill round up to the next dollar with the proceeds supporting wounded veterans.

“The support of Meineke will not only provide a practical service to millions of American veterans, but it will allow Wounded Warrior Project to continue to provide the wounded veterans we serve with programs and services that empower them to live their lives to the fullest,” said Gary Corless, WWP chief development officer in a news release.

Programs and services offered by the WWP assist injured veterans with mental health, physical health and wellness, career and benefits counseling, and long-term care.
